Opportunity Summary

We’re excited to share that The Z is forming a Programming Strategy Council, and we’re inviting community members to put themselves forward or nominate someone they admire to be part of it.

We’re seeking voices, perspectives, and lived experiences that reflect the richness of our whole community. This year, we’re especially eager to include young people, non-English speakers, and members of minority communities. Participants will be invited based on their knowledge, insight, and ability to help ensure our programs remain vibrant, inclusive, and meaningful.

As a member of this new community group, participants will collaborate with our programming team to strategize ways in which The Z's programming can further highlight diverse perspectives. Together, we’ll use equitable practices to create cultural experiences that are joyful, inclusive, and deeply connected to the people we serve.

The council will meet in person four times annually, typically on Mondays, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm, with some flexibility based on members' needs. Each council member will receive a $200 annual stipend.

If you, or someone you know, shares our passion for amplifying diverse voices and shaping a bright cultural future, we would be honored to hear from you. Please consider applying yourself or sharing this with someone whose voice should be at the table.

Deadline to apply is Thursday, April 30.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
